The next four days spent in Arpa Gorge was somehow productive despite on high temperature (over 40c) and sun.

During daytimes we were basically walking along the gorge exploring the potential of new routes. Two FA’s where done on the most solid cracks on two sections, one on the so called “Devil’s tower”. “Eagles aren’t at home” 28m 5.10c, and “Arpa” 30m 5.8.

Here in Arpa Gorge we first realized the magic power of the basalt column natural monuments. These rocks reflect the color of the sky and the rock gets different in different time of a day. These rocks deserve a special attitude from the climbers.
