Up The Rocks

On March, 24th in the Voronezh sport centre "Energy" solemn opening, of the main youth domestic start of a season on rock-climbing – superiority of Russia, has taken place.

In capital of Chernozem region have gathered over 380 sportsmen from 10 till 19 years from more than 30 regions of Russia. Competitions passed within 4 days, in two kinds: difficulty and speed.
Arman Ter-Minasyan acting in group of juniors, took the second place in difficulty and the first in speed. Following the results of two kinds - the first place in a double-event. According to the shown results trainers' council confirmed a line-up which will represent the Russian rock-climbing on Superiority of the World in the city of Edinburgh (Scotland) in September, 2010.
Special hopes are rested upon Arman at these competitions. But before it will be necessary to pass a test at Stages of the international starts in the spring and summer of 2010.
The following important Russian start will pass in the city of Ekaterinburg in May. The report on this competition (the Championship of Russia) in the following letter.

Arman Ter-Minasyan was born in 1992, has grown up in Moscow. Started climbing at 5. From 2005 has annually taken a part in the World and Europe championships as a member of Russian national sport climbing team. Has taken a silver on world's junior championship.
Master of sports since 2008.
